Areola Reduction

Areola reduction surgery can be done if you are unhappy with the size or shape of your areolas. This could either appear since you were born or after you had given birth. The procedure is quick, simple and has no effect on mothers who have to breast feed their babies.

Surgical Procedures

First the surgery is performed under local anesthesia around the nipple and the areola area. The common technique is to remove some of the nipple, it could be either the outer part of the areola or the inner part depending on individual person. Finally, the surgeon will stitch to close the incision.
